iMove

A real-time context-based recommendation system to assist the decision-making of people on the move.

The iMove project is the development of a real-time touristic recommendation system with dynamic contents based on user’s mobility and social networks.  Human interaction with the mobile device is reduced, and the user gets a better experience, thus enhancing the effectiveness of the recommendations made by the application.

The project is financed by the Ministry of Economy, Industry and Competitiveness from the “RETOS-COLABORACIÓN 2016” Call and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), with file number: RTC-2016-4951-6.

AR-Mind

Advanced Augmented Reality System applied to maintenance and industrial training.

The AR-MIND project is based on the development of an author’s tool for performing maintenance instructions in the Industrial Sector using Augmented Reality. The system allows for the prior training of technicians in routine maintenance tasks, as well as specific in-situ tasks.

The AR-MIND project is co-financed by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism, within the National Plan for Scientific Research, Development and Technological Innovation 2013-2016.

Tereha

TEREHA is a tele-rehabilitation platform that allows treatment to patients that has suffered brain damage with user-friendly entertainment applications not used up until now.

It improves the individualized clinical follow-ups of these patients, whose results are monitored and analyzed by specialists. On the other hand, it facilitates the adaptation of the patient to his environment, since the system can be located at home, maintaining the quality criteria of the assistance care.

The TEREHA project is part of the Call for Grants of the “Centro para el Desarrollo Técnologico Industrial” (CDTI), within the Technological Funds Program and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), with file number 00038400 / IDI-20110844.

NaRALap

The objective of this project is the design and implementation of an Augmented Reality system for assistance in abdominal surgery, as well as the development of a biomechanical model of liver that, together with the AR system, allows intraoperative navigation for Surgeons during the laparoscopic surgery of this organ.

The project is carried out in collaboration with LabHuman from the Institute of Bioengineering and Technology Oriented to the Human Being of the Polytechnic University of Valencia (UPV) and has been co-financed by the Ministry of Industry, Energy and Tourism within the National Plan for Scientific Research, Development and Technological Innovation 2008-2011, with reference number: TSI-020100-2009-189.

Sistema avanzado de Realidad Aumentada aplicado al mantenimiento y formación industrial.

QIPI

The QIPI project is based on the development of a Portable Intelligent Operating Room, where the health professional, using only gestures, can visualize the information of the medical images.

The consortium that develops this project is formed by Bienetec, Navimetric and LabHuman (Institute in Bioengineering and Technology Oriented to the Human Being of the UPV).

The aim is to investigate, develop and implement a new concept of work within the operating room so that the interaction with the medical imaging and data systems are carried out in a revolutionary way to the medical field.

The QIPI project is part of the Avanza Plan and has been co-financed by the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade within the National Plan for Scientific Research, Development and Technological Innovation 2008-2011, with file number: TSI-020100-2010-322.
